Jump Point Search On Hexagonal Grids

I wrote a report on Jump Point Search on Hexagonal Grids as my research project report for the Artificial Intelligence in Games class during the Fall Semester 2014.

I also made a demo using SDL 2.0 in Visual C++. Here are some of the screenshots:
The S (Start), E(End/Goal), M(Multi-Directional Jump Point), U(Uni-Directional Jump Point).

My Blender Assets

I have worked on Blender and made a few models using it.

Here are some of my works:

1. The Sword - Ice (Game of Thrones):

2. A map with a temple-like structure in the center. Surrounded by a circular wall. Also with textures:

3. A cubic map with a wooden texture:

LoopOfLies

A game based on societal views. There are three types of colored cubes in the game. One being 'blue' (player), a few others as 'red' (other people with different views) and 'green' (the walls/society in itself).
It is a top-down color swapping game with the motive being to make the walls as 'blue' (player's color). Although the win case for each level is to have the majority of the walls as 'blue' (signifying power over the society) and the rest as 'green' (other ideals are fine) but none as 'red' (but not of the opponent). The player does not win if all the walls are 'blue' which signifies dictatorship.

Here is a YouTube video of the game: LoopOfLies.

I had participated in the Independent Games Festival (2014 Student Competition Entrant):

GoldCraze

This is a 3D top-down game of a tank being controlled by us collecting coins until you are hit by another tank. Each coin you collect spawns a tank in that position which goes either in the horizontal or vertical direction.

It is made in the Unity engine using Javascript for programming.

Below is a screenshot and a video of the game being played:

The Tune Up

A self composed music composition called "The Tune Up". It is inspired by  "Downstream" by Shira Kammen which was used in the game Braid. This tune is made from the Indian Classical Carnatic Music using the Swaras (Sa, Ri, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni) which is similar to the Solfège (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti). I used this tune in my game MirrorD and LoopOfLies as background music.

I have put an image showing part of my composition sheet:

MirrorD

This is a 3D - 2D toggle puzzle maze with each level containing exactly one answer. This game was made in Visual C++ using OpenGL and FMOD for background music.

Here is a short video of the gameplay in the game:

Here is another older version video: MirrorD

Multi-Dimensional Correlation Steganalysis

Steganalysis is the art and science of detecting messages hidden using steganography (concealed writing). In this paper, the cross correlation of image pixel values was used to do steganalysis of the image to know if there was any message hidden in the image.

General Investigation

A software engineering report on "general investigation" based on the study of the book of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. It is a theoretical report which takes into consideration the simple ways of inferences of the imaginary Sherlock Holmes when solving matters.

Below are few screenshots from the report:
